SCP Special! (Once Every Month)

Reader beware! Scary content ahead!

Hello everyone, and welcome to a blast from the past! I’ve decided to take one random day from each month to the exploration of SCPs. I absolutely adore this macabre and morbidly fascinating community. It keeps growing every day, and I always look forward to the new posts. Now, without any further ado, let’s get started!

  • Graffito SCP-274 Object Class: Keter (Description is summarized)

Description: SCP-274 is a paint of variable color. Buildings inflicted with SCP-274 appear to have large amounts of graffiti covering the sides of the building, and often have large, disturbing designs to them (see addendum-274). While its consistency is that of normal paint, its composition reveals it to be 28% hemoglobin, 12% gastric acid, and 60% common components consistent with Krylon brand spray paint.

When SCP-274 is applied to a wall, it will begin to spread until the entire wall is covered by it. It’s unable to cover metal, glass, or any horizontal surfaces. When SCP-274 spreads on to buildings, it will convert the wall’s interior into a large mesoglea, the interior walls into a gastrodermis, and the exterior walls act as a protective shell and epidermis. This becomes SCP-274-1

SCP-274-1 has human level sentience, and will lure people to it by making grunts and whimpering. If a human gets to close to the anomaly, it will be absorbed into is gastrovascular cavity. This transforms them into SCP-274-2.

These organisms are depicted as men and women wearing respirators, gas masks, and pastel colored hoodies. They are masters of disguise, and will compact themselves on the wall until prey comes by. SCP-274-2 have a strange, hinged operculum located in their right hands. This device acts like a spray can, and projects SCP-274 like paint. Upon contact, the SCP will be sprayed into the victim’s mouth and eyes. This attack method is extremely painful, and the victim will blinded and numb from the neck down. The poor soul is then absorbed into the cavity, where it becomes another instance of SCP-274-2.

SCP-274-2 duplicates itself every 24 hours, and when 12 duplicates are made, the entity will attempt to cover other buildings. If unchecked, entity may cover a large city within 20 days.

Addendum-274:

Date Found: 01/(BLANK)/2001(SCP-274-1-1), 04/(BLANK)/2006 (SCP-274-1-2), 03/(BLANK)/2010 (SCP-274-1-3), 08/(BLANK)/2011 (SCP-274-1-4), 11/(BLANK)/2011 (SCP-274-1-5), 07/(BLANK)/2012 (SCP-274-1-6),08/(BLANK)/2012 (SCP-274-1-7), 08/(BLANK)/2012 (REDACTED)

Appearance: SCP-274-1-1 is painted to resemble a large bus with the number (BLANK) on its side. The front of the bus has been replaced by a human like face, and the back is on fire. The bus patrons don’t appear to be effected by the fire.

SCP-274-1-2 is painted to look like its crumbling apart. People appear to be running away, and a face is forming from the falling rubble.

SCP-274-1-3 is painted to look like a shark infested beach with people running from the shore. There’s also a giant tiki statue that covers most of the front of the piece.

SCP-274-1-4 is designed to look like a hellish version of Noah’s ark. The creatures are some types of unknown species, and they all have sharp teeth, and eyes devoid of pupils and irises.

SCP-274-1-5 is a scene of several figures in biohazard suits fighting each other for a bottle of hand sanitizer. There’s also several cadavers in a pile with a demonic grinning green dog laughing at the trauma.

SCP-274-1-6 is painted to resemble a mausoleum. There’ s a large human skull painted at its front. The base has figures suffering from advanced stages of rigor mortis. Several figures appear to be wearing standard- issue tactical armor distributed to MTF-Pi-1.

SCP-274-1-7 is decorated with a scene of MTF-PI-1 setting the anomaly on fire through the use of Molotov cocktails. There’s also a large depiction of the anomaly attacking the figures.

[REDACTED]. (BLANK) operatives dead as a result of a large mob of SCP-274-2 numbering between (BLANK) to (BLANK).

  • Blood Candy SCP-942 Object Class: Safe

Description: SCP-942-1 are colored gumballs of standard (2.53 cm) size. From the instance the gumball is ingested, the consumer’s bodily fluids will take on the appearence of blood upon leaving the subject’s body. The fluids coagulate like normal blood and are indistinguishable from blood by sight, smell, and touch. The blood in the body is seemingly unaffected, however, nosebleeds, blood-shot eyes, and tears of bloody will occur. There’s also some discomfort during urination.

Subjects have shown to have panic attacks after exposure, and may lead to severe bodily harm or dehydration.

SCP-942-2 is a small bubble gum dispenser for home use of a model produced by [REDACTED]. The machine appears to have an unlimited supply of SCP-942-1, and can be damaged normally. There’re currently researching the replenishing capacity of the machine. The words; “Try something different today! Sweet and candy-red!” are engraved on the underside.

Halloween Special!

Hello fellow viewers, and Happy Halloween! I’ve decided to do something very special for the holiday. This post will be about Creepypastas. Creepypastas are internet horror stories that are passed around and occasionally read by people on Youtube. They cover a variety of topics, ranging from urban legends, to psychological horror. I have been listening to them for a very long time, and I’ve decided to share some of my favorites. Now, use the light of your computers as the campfire, and let’s begin the spooky tales!

  • NES Godzilla Creepypasta by Cosbydaf  Genre: Haunted Game

Haunted video games are a big part of the Creepypasta community, and this is probably the best story. It’s about a boy named Zachary who is given the old NES game as a present. What starts as a normal, enjoyable gaming experience turns very wrong. Zach goes on a journey through corrupted data, bizarre levels, and one of the scariest video game antagonists ever made. It has many crazy twists and turns that will leave you shocked and amazed. I highly recommend this story to everyone, and I post a link of it below. Goji73 does an impeccable job narrating this story, and even adds his own music to enhance the atmosphere. I’d love to hear what you guys think of this story in the comments’ section below.

  • Borrasca by C.K. Walker Genre: Psychological/Violent/Emotional Horror

The Borrasca is an incredibly intense journey of betrayal, sex, horror, controversy, violence, and despair. It has many adult themes, and is strongly intended for mature audiences only. The story is about a boy named Sam who moves to Drisking, Missouri from St. Louis. Sam’s father, a cop, becomes the sheriff of the town, and Sam meets his two best friends. They start having a lot of fun exploring town, until Sam’s friends Kyle, and Kimber, take him to a place called the Triple Tree. This giant treehouse holds a terrible secret about Skinnedmen and a place called the Borrasca. There’s also a extremely disturbing mechanical noise that appears at random during the day. Shit finally hits the fan when Sam’s sister, Whitney goes missing. What starts as a simple missing person case, transforms into something much worse. Walker pulls no punches, and some parts of the story are very hard to read. The writing and setting of the story is absolutely perfect, and I would love to see this tale transformed into a movie. Posted below, is a link to Mr. CreepyPasta’s narration of the story. He’s one of the most popular “Creepytubers”, and his work is always admirable. I highly recommend this story, but be warned, it’s quite unnerving.

  • The Showers by Dylan Sindelar Genre: Paranormal

The Showers is an awesome story with a very surprising ending. It’s about a high school student named Jack, and his Social Studies teacher, Mr. Mays. Jack looks up to this teacher, and he’s very popular with the students. One Halloween day, Mr. Mays tells his class a horror story. It ends up being so well done, and so compelling, that everyone loved it. Jack begins to tell the story to other people, and then finally meets his teacher at a bar. What goes on from there is up to you to find out, however, I will say that its one awesome adventure. Mr. CreepyPasta narrates this awesome story in the link below.

More Creepy Art Pieces (October Special)

Hello fellow horror fans! It’s Monday, and you know what that means! Yes, it’s time for us to take a look at some more scary paintings. Now, grab a costume, and let’s scare up some fun!

  • Time to bring back a scary classic! The Face of War by Salvador Dali Oil on canvas 1940

This is one piece that will send shivers down your spine! It’s a brilliantly macabre work by “Spanish Surrealist”, Salvador Dali. It depicts a rotten head with no eyes and a horrifying expression. There’re mirror images of the skull in the head’s eyeholes. The atmosphere of the work is extremely unsettling, and puts the viewers on edge. Supposedly, the painting is a representation of Dali’s premonitions of war, as this was made just as WW2 started. It definitely conveys its message well, and our morbid curiosity compels us to keep looking.

  • Insane Woman by Theodore Gericault 1822 Oil on canvas

This is an incredibly grotesque work by “French Lithographer”, Gericault. The woman of the work is very unsettling, and quite realistic. The woman’s face is wrinkled and decrepit. Her eyes, which are probably the most disturbing aspect of the piece, are bloodshot and crossed. She also has a very deranged smile. I love the artist’s close attention to detail, and I really enjoy the uniqueness of the piece.

Creepy Pokedex Entries (Every Wednesday for the Month of October)

Hello everyone, and welcome to another look at a well-loved topic! As said before, I am a huge fan of the Pokemon franchise. I adore the gigantic amount of characters and their very unique designs. One of the most important tools in a Pokemon Trainer’s arsenal is the Pokedex, a compendium of all the various creatures you will meet on your journey. Despite the “E” rating, Japan has managed to put some pretty disturbing information into the dex. It becomes less of a children-friendly game, and more of a horror story. So, to celebrate the month of Halloween, I will be adding the most bizarre and messed up entries that I can find. Now, let’s dive into the amazing world of Pokemon!

  •    Bruxish  The Gnash Teeth Pokemon (Based off of a filefish or reef triggerfish)

Size: 2″11 Weight: 41.9lbs

Bruxish is a water/psychic fish Pokemon from Generation VII. It’s quite colorful, and has a mouth that’s full of sharp teeth. They can be caught from fishing spots in the Secluded Shore.

Pokedex entry from Pokemon Moon: It stuns its prey with psychokinesis and grinds them to mush with its strong teeth. Even Shelder’s shell is no match for it. (Yes brutal death, totally a kid’s game!)

  • Dusclops The Beckon Pokemon (Based off of a Hitotsume-kozo)

Size: 5’03” Weight: 67.5 lbs

Dusclops is a pure ghost type Pokemon from Generation III. It’s a fairly large, cyclopean ghost with a grey body that resembles bandages on a mummy. It can be found be leveling up Duskull to level 37.

Pokedex entry from Omega Ruby: Dusclops’s body is completely hollow—–there is nothing at all inside. It is said that its body is like a black hole. This Pokemon will absorb anything into its body, but nothing will ever come back out. (O_O)

Messed Up Superheroes and Villains (October Comic Book Special)

Hello fellow comic book fans! It’s time to spook up this post just in time for Halloween. While Tuesday is usually set for strange comic book characters, I am going to change things up. This week, we will be looking at some truly insane characters. They are designed with the intent to disturb the reader, and no punches will be pulled. This post is going to be a lot more graphic then usual, so get ready as we explore the unhinged psyche of the comic book world.

  • James Braddock Status: Hero /Villain First Appeared: Captain Britain Weekly #9 (December 1976) Powers: Ability to manipulate reality, which can distort and twist objects and people into grotesque and agonizing shapes. He also has incredible durability.

James Braddock is the older brother of Captain Britain and Psylocke. He originally was a successful Formula 1 racer who participated in many illegal activities. He was eventually kidnapped and brutally tortured by the tyrannical Doctor Crocodile. His incredible powers began to manifest when he lost his sanity. The powers made James one of the most dangerous beings in the universe, and his unhinged mind made him very unpredictable. (This is one of the most deranged and awesome comic book characters of all time.) (His face is also extremely off-putting.)

  • Flamingo Real Name: Eduardo Flamingo Status: Serial Killer First Appeared: Batman #666 (July, 1 2007) Powers/Weapons: Enhanced senses, feral strength, Invulnerability

Eduardo was an average Joe, until he was brainwashed by the Mob. He turned into a horrifying serial killer, and murdered his entire family. His mind was completely altered, turning him into an unpredictable maniac. He also loved to eat the faces of his victims after killing them. Flamingo is most well known for almost killing Red Hood. Part of Hood’s left ear was eaten, and he was shot in the kneecaps. Eduardo seemingly met his end by a pile of rubble. (O_O)

  •  Murmur Real Name: Michael Christian Amar Status: Ex Surgeon/Serial Killer First Appeared: Flash Iron Heights (August 2001) Powers/Weapons: A ruthless assassin skilled with a knife, which he uses to murder his victims and cut off their tongues. Also a very strange blood type which makes him immune to all viruses and poisons.

Michael was a well respected surgeon with many personal demons. He eventually went on a killing spree to supposedly stop the voices in his head. He was captured by the police, and put to death by lethal injection. Unfortunately, Michael’s incredibly abnormal blood typing negated the poison, and he was sentenced to the Iron Heights Maximum Security Prison. While in prison, Michael committed a horrifying act of self-mutalation by stitching up his mouth, and cutting off his tongue. He escaped prison, and then joined Blacksmith and the Rogues. (His face is what nightmares are made of!)
