Asher’s Jukebox Part 181

Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad? by Moby from the album “Play” (October 11, 1999)

Good old Moby! He’ s not only one of my favorite Electronic musicians of all time, but one of my first experiences with that genre as a whole. This album, “Play” was played (no pun intended) many times on long car journeys. I already talk about two other Moby tracks on the jukebox before from his third album, “Everything is Wrong”. This song, is absolutely beautiful, and gives off a melancholic vibe. Moby usually uses gospel singers in his music, and this piece is no exception. The entire song has a very melodic piano playing, and it echoes sounds of bittersweet happiness. The lyrics, while repeated many times, are super powerful, and send chills down my spine. The chorus will also hit you right in the heart, and stay with you for a long time after listening. I would really like to hear what you guys think of the piece in the comments’ section below.–0jksx

The Amazing World of ASMR

Hello everyone, and welcome to a very special post. Today, I will be discussing the amazing phenomenon known as ASMR. ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, and is a tingling sensation that some people get from a variety of stimuli. These include; tapping on objects, soft voices, binaural beats, brushing hair, role-plays, and vocal triggers. The sensation is incredibly soothing, and puts the mind into a state of Nirvana. Various people on Youtube make videos to specifically trigger this phenomenon, and they’re known as ASMRtists. It’s an extremely diverse community, with members from all around the world. I had experienced ASMR in my childhood, when my mother would trace my arm up to my head. This would immediately cause all of the stress to leave my body. I recently discovered the ASMR community, and have completely fallen in love with the relaxing videos. I get ASMR mainly from role-plays or message videos. Some of my favorite ASMRtists include; Gibi ASMR, Tingting ASMR, Articulate Design ASMR, ASMR Darling, ASMR Zeitgeist, Ephemeral Rift ASMR, Gentle Whispering ASMR, Whispers Red ASMR, Heather Feather ASMR, Jojo’s ASMR, Fred’s Voice ASMR, and Message ASMR. As you can see, there’re tons of ASMRtists on Youtube, and it’s up to you to decide which ones work for you. I will be posting a link to a great introduction of this sensation in the comments’ section below. Now, prepare your brain for an awesome message!
