Hello fellow Pop Culture Enthusiasts! It’s time for another Tropes post! I hope you guys are ready for some awesome trivia. Now, let’s begin!
Creepy Souvenir: This is a very common trope that’s used in many forms of media. It deals with a certain object, usually a body part, that shows the messed up things a character has done. Some examples include; The Medic’s macabre refrigerator from TF2. The psychotic Dr. Ludwig has various beating hearts, and the still living head of a Blu Spy. Next, there’s Mr. Zsasz from the Batman comics. This serial killer etches his body with knife marks to indicate how many lives he’s taken. Lastly, there’s The Predator from the series of the same name. This heavily skilled hunter collects the skulls of his victims.
Brutal Bonus Level: This is a trope that’s commonly used in video games. It deals with hidden levels that are known for their extreme difficulty. Some examples include; The True Arena from the various Kirby games. This is a boss rush gauntlet with few healing items. Each boss is significantly harder, and has a whole plethora of new attacks. Next, there’s Yoku Man’s stage from Mega Man Unlimited. This stage is heavily filled with those goddamn disappearing and reappearing blocks. It will drive you absolutely crazy. Lastly, there’s The Void from The Binding of Isaac Afterbirth +. This final stage has some of the hardest enemies in the entire game. Then, we get to the final boss, Delirium, and you better put your best skills to the test! He has the most health of any boss in the game, and can replicate each of their attack patterns to ridiculous effects.
Hello fellow Tavern Dwellers! It’s time for another Hearthstone post! I hope you guy are ready for some awesome cards. Now, let’s have ourselves a friendly brawl!
Felpipe Summoning by petebar Type: Netural Demon Hunter Spell Appearance: A kobold blowing into a pipe that’s billowing green evil smoke. Effect: Summon a random minion with Cost equal to your hero’s Attack. (up to 10) Mana Cost 1
I really enjoy this card, and could definitely see play in an aggressive Demon Hunter deck. I have always been a sucker for random minion summoning, and this fits it to a T! I believe the low cost of the card is perfect for it, as you don’t want to use it right away. You can surprise your opponent with a sneak attack when using this, and the power is perfectly balanced.
Hello fellow Mega Man fans! It’s time for another Mega Man post! We will be continuing the awesome journey into the amazing franchise. Now, let’s get equipped with some incredible power!
Astro Crush First Appeared: Mega Man 8 Obtained from: Astro Man Color Change: Dark Green Effect: Mega Man screams, and summons a giant meteor storm that does heavy damage to everything on screen. You are completely invincible during the animation. Uses: 4
Astro Crush is probably the most powerful weapon in Mega Man 8. You get the weapon from the cowardly Astro Man, and it completely decimates Aqua Man. It also can be used to get a bit of extra air time during your jump. With its power, visual style, and usefulness, you get one of the most powerful weapons in the entire series.
Junk Shield First Appeared: Mega Man 7 Obtained From: Junk Man Type: Shield Projectile Color Change: Gray Effect: Mega Man summons various pieces of junk that orbit around him. They can be used for protection, or fired off as 3 projectiles. Uses: 9
Junk Shield is a very cool weapon from Mega Man 7. Unlike the other “Shield-type” weapons in the series, this particular one can take multiple hits before dissipating. It also can be used as a 3-way projectile to take out hard to reach enemies. You get a simple and effective weapon that can be used in 2 ways, and as an added bonus, Freeze Man despises it!
Hello fellow Pop Culture Enthusiasts! It’s time for another tropes post! I hope you guys are ready for some awesome trivia. Now, let’s begin!
Squashed Flat: An extremely popular trope that’s used in many forms of media, mainly cartoons. It occurs when a character gets flattened by a heavy object or machine. Some examples include; Judge Doom’s transformation in Who Framed Roger Rabbit. In this, the titular villain exposes his true form after getting flattened like a pancake. Lastly, we have the various squishing of Tom& Jerry. Always played for comedic effect, the two titular characters will always find themselves getting squished by various objects.

Outland Portal by Marmeg Type: Demon Hunter Rare Spell Appearance: A portal with a green aura and purple background. Effect: Give your hero +3 Attack this turn. Summon a random 3-Cost minion.
This is a very cool card for the new Demon Hunter class. I have always loved portal-based cards, and this one definitely goes with the class’ aesthetic. Being both an attack boost and minion summon works wonders for the unique class, and this can possibly become a real card sometime soon.
Heroes Wanted Type: Warrior Neutral Spell Appearance: A fearsome looking dragon with a sword. Effect: Discover a Legendary minion. Give it +2/+2.
This is a simple, but effective card that could honestly be used in any type of Warrior deck. It doesn’t specify what type of Legendary minion you can discover, so the possibilities are literally endless.
