Hello fellow music lovers! It’s time to bring back one of my favorite topics. The Jukebox has been pretty empty for a while, and that needs to stop! Every Weekend, I’ll be posting more music. Now, let the epic tunes commence!
Zombie by Bad Wolves (2018) Genre: Rock From the album: “Disobey” Released May 11th, 2018
Bad Wolves is a Heavy Metal supergroup that’s comprised of many well known Metal musicians like Tommy Vext and Chris Cain. This piece is a cover of the Cranberries’ mega hit “Zombie”. It is also a heartfelt tribute to the passing of the Cranberries’ lead singer, Dolores O’ Riordan. The song takes on a more Metal feel with Doc Coyle’s heavy guitar riffs and John Boecklin’s excellent drumming. Then, we get to Tommy Vext’s vocals, and our jaws drop. His voice is hauntingly beautiful and gruff at the same time. You’d never expect a fearsome-looking dude with a body covered in tattoos to have such an amazing voice, but appearances aren’t always everything. I highly recommend this song, and would love to hear what you think of it in the comments’ section below.

Hello everybody, and welcome to another Hearthstone post! This post will cover one of the most fun aspects of the game, the Tavern Brawl. A Tavern Brawl occurs every Wednesday, and lasts until 1:00 A.M. on Monday. You must have reached Level 20 with one class in order to play. The brawl essentially rewrites the rules of the game, either giving you a random deck with strange perks, or you create one from scratch. You also get a standard pack for your first victory. The following is a list of my favorite brawls, and the rules that go along with them.
Spiders, Spiders, EVERYWHERE! This excellent brawl has the classes battling it out with a deck full of Webspinners and 7 random class spells. Webspinner is a one cost minion with a deathrattle that adds a random beast to your hand. There are 104 beasts in the game so the random number generator is extremely diverse. I adore this brawl for its random factor, and the fact that you’ll never get the same minions. The brawl made its first appearance on July 5th, 2015.
ShiftCon: This brawl has classes fighting with randomized decks filled with Shifter Zerus’ and random class spells. Shifter Zerus is a Legendary minion that transforms into another minion every turn. You start with three mana crystals, so it’s easier to get a minion to summon. The brawl first appeared on June 29th, 2016.
Too Many Portals! This could possibly be my favorite brawl of all time! Players battle with decks full of Unstable Portals and 7 random spells. Unstable Portal adds a random minion to your hand, and it costs 3 mana less. The brawl first appeared on July 29th, 2015.
Hello fellow Duelists! It’s Friday, and you know what that means! Yes, it’s time to look at some more strange cards. Now, let’s duel!
Yado Karu Type: Aqua/Effect Attribute: Water 4 Stars ATK/ 900 DEF/ 1700 Appearance: A strange, green, snake-like crab with a spiky shell. Effect: When this card is changed from Attack Position to Defense Position, you can place any number of cards from your hand at the bottom of the Deck in any order you desire.
This strange card has never been played in any deck I’ve ever faced. Its effect is extremely situational, and it doesn’t have enough health to survive almost any attack.
Nuvia The Wicked Type: Fiend/Effect Attribute: Dark 4 Stars ATK/ 2000 DEF/ 800 Appearance: A cool looking demigod with a serpentine tail and two large hands. Effect: If this card is Normal Summoned, it is destroyed. The ATK of this card is decreased by 200 points for each monster on your opponent’s side of the field.
You’re probably thinking; “Wow! A 2000 ATK 4 Star monster!”, then you get to its effect, and everything goes downhill. It kills itself immediately after its Normal Summoned, and even when Special Summoned, it’s still incredibly week. I have a very hard time figuring out how to use this trash in any deck.
