Carlson Mondays (Every Other Monday)

Works found on larrycarlson.bigcartel.com

Hello fellow art lovers! It’s Monday, and you know what that means! Yes, it’s time to look at some more trippy works. Now, let’s have our minds blown by these awesome paintings!

  • Starry Night by Larry Carlson Pigment print on metallic paper

This is an amazing piece by “Computer Guru”, Larry Carlson. It’s an outdoor scene that’s divided into many different squares. Each of the squares have a brilliant star pattern on them that brings the piece together like a jigsaw puzzle. The background is multicolored, and each square adds more action to it. Overall, this is a very unique work that I highly enjoy. Tell me what you think of this painting in the comments’ section below.

  • Backstreet Vortex by Larry Carlson Pigment print on metallic paper

This is a delightfully trippy piece by “Master Surrealist”, Carlson. In this work, a street has been removed from the laws of physics, and transformed into a completely absurd creation. It has the consistency of silly putty, and thus has bended and spiraled into an abstract structure of epic proportions. The center of the work houses a glowing, clover-like entity where the road emerges and ends. Tell me what you think of this work in the comments’ section below.
