Carlson Monday (Every Other Monday)

All works found on

Hello fellow art lovers! It’s Monday, and you know what that means!  Yes, it’s time to take a look at some Carlson works. Now, let’s get started!

  • THE HEAVENLY GYRATIONS OF THE COSMIC ARMONICA collage on wooden board 2011

This is a fantastic piece by “Computer Guru”, Larry Carlos. It is a space scene with a multitude of strange occurrences. The sky is a vibrant purple and blue. We also see a strange, humanoid figure with the planet, Saturn for its head. The weirdest part of the piece is the Chtulu-like creature sprouting out of Saturn’s head.

  • Melted Yet by Larry Carlson Digital Photography

This is a very trippy work by “Computer Guru”, Larry Carlson. The work is a psychedelic  spiral of pop culture references and product placement. There’s also a strange melting human in the center of the circle. I love the bizarre imagery in this painting, and I’d love to hear your comments in the comments’ section below.
