Asher’s Jukebox Part 171

Info on song found on en.wikipedia.org

Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen from the album “Various Positions” (1985)

In order to honor the resent passing of Leonard Cohen, I have decided to review one of his most popular songs. The piece is work of musical genius, and it fills the listener with raw emotion. Cohen’s gruff crooning is filled with passion, and gives off a very melancholy vibe. When the lyrics grab hold of you, you are transported into a world of sadness and bittersweet happiness. It is a very unique piece, and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Tell me what you think of it in the comments’ section below. Happy Listening :D!
