Yokai Wednesdays

Konichiwa, everyone! It’s Wednesday, and you know what that means! Yes, it’s time to take a look at some more yokai. Now, let’s go on a journey to “The Land of the Rising Sun!”

  • Slug! Namekujira are extremely weird creatures of Japanese mythology. They’re depicted as enormous slugs that are reddish brown in color. Namekujra feed on the normal things that everyday slugs do, and can leave huge slime trails as long as 182 meters. 


  • Taka nyudo is a dangerous creature of Japanese folklore. It resembles a gigantic priest that loves to scare unsuspected people. If the person can guess the giant’s height, it will leave them alone.
