Asher’s Art Gallery (Mondays)

Hello fellow art lovers! It’s Monday, and my art gallery is open once again! I hope you guys are ready for some interesting pieces! Now, let’s get started!

  • Voids by Larry Carlson 2015: This is a very interesting piece by “abstract master”, Larry Carlson. In this work we see a strange female figure with no face and a mysterious background. The facial features seem to be replaced with a strange black void, and most of her body seems to be obscured by a rainbow veil.  I want to know what you guys think of this piece, so be sure to leave a comment in the comment’s section below.

  • The Witness by Rene Magritte 1939 gouache on paper: This is a very bizarre, but quite interesting piece by “master surrealist”, Rene Magritte. The piece depicts three objects; a bullet, a pair of intestine, and a bleeding heart. I believe that this is a visceral look at the horrors of war. Tell me what you think of this piece in the comment’s section below.
