Konbanwa everyone! It’s Wednesday, and you know what that means! Yes, it’s time to take a look at some more interesting yokai. I hope you guys are ready for some interesting creatures. Now, let’s go on a journey to “The Land of the Rising Sun!”

  • Boo? Shiro ukari are very bizarre creatures of Japanese mythology. They’re depicted as ghost-like entities with large eyes and long tails. (yokai.com) These yokai are very mysterious, and hardly any information is known about them. (yokai.com)


  • WTF! Tenjo kudari are extremely disturbing creatures of Japanese folklore. They usually live in the attics of homes, and love to scare people. (yokai.com) Tenjo kudari are depicted as ugly, naked old women with long, disheveled hair, and elongated tongues. (yokai.com) These yokai first appeared in the illustrations of Toriyama Sekien.
