Art Pieces I Love (Mondays)

Hello fellow art lovers! It’s Monday, and you know what that means! Yes, it’s time for me to share some more of my favorite art pieces with you wonderful people. Now, grab a paintbrush, and let’s get started!

  • Victor 25448 by Jean-Michel Basquiat 1987 Acrylic oil paintstick, wax, and crayon on paper mounted on canvas: Ah yes, another great painting by the “Abstract Guru”, Basquiat. It’s very color and quite unique in style. The background  is bright red, and the word ideal is written 3 times. It also has a weird humanoid figure with 3 legs and a red nose. I would love to hear what you guys think of this piece, so be sure to tell me what you think in the comment’s section below.

  • Ripple in Still Water by Larry Carlson 2015 Digital Photography (info about piece from Larry Carlson’s website Get ready to get your mind blown! This has got to be one of the most beautiful pieces Larry Carlson has ever done! It depicts an absolutely gorgeous body of water that will leave your jaw dropped! Reflecting off the water is a lovely rainbow that brings a serene light to this amazing piece.  The brilliant use of colors, incredible detail, and overall awesomeness is what makes it so unique. I’d absolutely love to hear what you guys  think of this piece in the comment’s section below.
