More of My Favorite Artworks (Mondays)

Hello fellow art lovers! It’s Monday, and you know what that means! Yes, it’s time for me to share with you guys some of my favorite art pieces. I hope you guys are ready for some truly interesting works. Now, let’s get started!

  • Eternity by Rene Magritte 1935 oil on canvas (info about painting from wikiart.org): Ah yes, another wonderfully imaginative piece by the master surrealist himself, Magritte. This painting is both funny and unique. At first glance, it looks like an ordinary trio of busts. However, there’s something quite peculiar about the middle image. Instead of a historical head, a block of cheese takes its place! I would love to hear what you guys think about this piece, so be sure to tell me what you think in the comments section below.

  • Nightfall at the Edge of the Universe 2015 by Larry Carlson Digital Photo Art (info about painting from Larry Carlson’s website larrycarlson.com) Now, it’s time to get epic! Here we have another wonderful work by the Digital Guru Larry Carlson. It has a cosmic vibe and can put you in a trance from staring at it. The top of the painting is filled with psychedelic patterns and optical illusions. The center of the painting depicts a starry night with a spherical planet. It then transforms into a realist painting with  life-like barns and a rocky ground. I would love to hear your thoughts about this work, so be sure to leave me a comment in the comments section below.
