Another Strange Instrument (Tuesdays)

Hello fellow music lovers! It’s Tuesday, and you know what that means! Yes, it’s time for us to add a new musical instrument to the collection. I hope you guys are ready for this week’s post, and be sure to tell me what you think about it in the comments section below. Now, let’s get started!

Sounds Like a Karate Yell! The Huaca is a very strange and interesting musical instrument that was invented by Sharon Rowell in 1980. ( It’s made out of clay, has different chambers that are tuned to different  keys. ( It essentially is a pan-cultural vessel flute that looks quite similar to the ocarina. ( It has 3 large chambers and a split mouthpiece, which allows the user to play up to 3 notes at the same time. ( It sounds pretty interesting doesn’t it?
